Who is Nina Riggio
Nina Riggio is a visual journalist based in Colorado. She is available for assignments in Colorado and beyond. Nina lives to tell the stories about human connections to the natural world and all of the flaws that go with it.
As a born and raised southerner living in the West, Nina’s work is driven by an urge to connect people from drastically different backgrounds and beliefs. Vulnerability and trustworthiness is what she aims to create within her photographs.
In 2019, Nina attended the 71st Missouri Photo Workshop where she was the recipient of the Howard Chapnik Award for documenting social issues with honesty and integrity. (Link) She hopes to continue working to document human conditions of all scales.

Nina holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Colorado College in Anthropology and Photojournalism.
When she’s not making photos she does Archaeology and loves rock climbing.
